John Strain holds a Master of Science in Emergency Services Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Studies with a focus on Vocational Arts from California State University, Long Beach, combining his education with a 30-year career in law enforcement. With experience working for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Tustin Police Department, he has served in specialized units including street-level operations, major narcotic enforcement, and covert surveillance, as well as a Field Training Officer and instructor in First Aid/CPR, Police Ethics, and Firearms/Tactics. John has worked as an adjunct professor and curriculum builder, with a focus on practical application and advancing law enforcement education.
